Proposal for the application of aid from JICA for
participant’s preparation to the 32nd World Skill Competition (WSC)
at St. Gallen, Switzerland in June 2003
The Centre for Instructor and Advanced Skill Training
(CIAST) is the training centre under Manpower Department, Ministry of Human
Resources Malaysia. It is build in 1984 under cooperation between Malaysian
Government and JICA. CIAST has produced the skill worker for industries and has
won the medals in Malaysian Skill Competition (MSC) frequently which held every
year. This year two of our student have
present our country to Asean Skill Competition (ASC) in Jakarta, Indonesia and
one of them has won the Silver Medal
For the preparation of our competitors, we hope JICA will
give the donation to buy some equipment followed:
Brand KEMPPI which will use in WSC
and to give our competitors familiarization to handle that machine

After get the suitable equipment, training hard, fully
support and so on, we hope will achieved our goal to bring bank ‘The First
Medal for Country in World Skill Competition’. We also hope by using that
machine, we will produce the Gold Medalist in World and ASEAN in the future.
